LEGOLAND Windsor fire: Reopening date and refund details
Following the fire at the Legoland Hotel last weekend, the park has issued a further statement detailing the re-opening and further details for guests.
The fire broke out on Sunday, July 31 at around 3:45pm when guests and parkgoers saw smoke emanating from the hotel.

Hotel staff and emergency services were quick to evacuate guests and visitors, implementing their ‘well-rehearsed emergency procedures’.
All guests are currently ‘safe and well’.
The affected hotel will ‘remain closed whilst the necessary assessments and remediation works are undertaken.’
Reopening: Wednesday, August 3 (reviewed on an ongoing basis)
Refunds and alternative accommodation:
A spokesperson from LEGOLAND said: “Guests were given a full refund on their stay, offered alternative accommodation and extra time to enjoy a selection of rides in the theme park on Sunday evening, which remained open for business as usual.
“All LEGOLAND Hotel guests staying on 1 and 2 August are being given the option to have a refund or offered alternative accommodation. They will still be able to visit the theme park with their tickets if they would like. The Castle Hotel (adjacent) is open.
“We apologise to our guests for the inconvenience and would like to thank them for their patience whilst we assist everyone with rearranging their bookings.
