Two men killed in Windsor crash identified

The two men killed in a single-car crash early Monday morning in the village of Windsor have been identified as Sean McCarthy, 29, Arlington, and Daniel Baker, 27, Poynette.

McCarthy was the driver of a Lexus IS 250 that left Highway V and crashed near Snowy Owl Court, and Baker was the passenger in the car.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office conducted forensic examinations on Monday. The preliminary results of the examinations confirmed both died from injuries sustained in the crash.
